IT volunteers

CoolTan Arts is looking for volunteers to provide general IT support which is crucial for the smooth running of the office. Duties include: ensuring back up of computer systems and data, general maintenance relating to hardware and software, creating strategies and advising staff on efficient IT use, helping to obtain funding for IT resources, informing staff or volunteers of best practice IT, any ad hoc duties. Are you interested in publicity and marketing? Do you want to help spread the word about CoolTan Arts? We need volunteers who want to find out how to grab the attention of the press and tell people what we do, or attend events as CoolTan Arts ambassador. Podcast: Do you have a story about mental health and its effects on your family and friends?

We are looking for people who might be interested in contributing stories about mental health and the labels that you have been given for our podcasts, as a part of an ongoing project at CoolTan Arts, our Funny Farm web site and forum. It could be funny, shocking, inspiring, or simply yours; tell us about the labels you have been confronted with in life, at work and/or in hospital; learn to record and create conversations online and meet people; share and listen to your own stories.
